Bridget Strevens-Marzo, of British and Catalan extraction, studied in the UK and at Cambridge University before moving to France, where she resides today. Bridget's illustrations feature regularly in French children's magazines, and are reprinted worldwide. Her most recent book, Margaret Wild's Kiss, Kiss!, was published by Little Hare (UK, Australia/NZ), and Bayard (France), and is due in the US with Simon & Schuster in 2004. Bridget also teaches at Parsons Paris School of Design. She shares her love of old and new illustrated books with her students there, and also with a weekly class of bilingual five year olds who give her plenty of feedback. As SCBWI International Illustrator Coordinator, she hosts discussions with children's book creators in France and elsewhere.
